Summers impressing in summer ball
Former Georgetown Hoyas forward DaJuan Summers has been one of the stories so far of the NBA’s Summer League. He is averaging a startling 21.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game through his first two games.
It is just two games of summer league play, so it’s not exactly a sign that Summers is on his way to NBA stardom. He also isn’t playing against any of the league’s top players. Still, it’s a good sign for a guy the Detroit Pistons essentially stole with a second round pick.
